Hello Wisdom

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Our world is begging for more information about this crisis. Our thinking is, more data will eventually lead us to a solution. That is sound logic. But there is another aspect to this that many people are missing. Wisdom Many say that wisdom is the appropriate application of knowledge. This is true. Without knowledge, wisdom has no place to grow. But it's also critical, unlimited, rare, and infinitely valuable. More than that, it is an act of faith. True wisdom is spiritual. Wisdom is so powerful it is a gift of the spirit (1 Cor 12). If you have been frustrated with how some have reacted to the Covid-19 virus, it isn't a matter of knowledge; it's wisdom. What can you do right now! Pray for it. Reread James 1:5 above. God doesn't hold back wisdom. Seek it. Talk to people whose lifestyle reflects wisdom. God will speak to you through them. Listen to it. When people speak to you, listen for their motives. Are they selfish or selfless? Are they thinking about themselves or about what's best for others? Follow it. Wisdom isn't easy to accomplish, but it is rewarding. It will bring you joy, peace, hope, and love. PRAY: Dear Jesus, give me wisdom today. AMEN
