"Everybody loves faithfulness." If I have said that once, I have said it hundreds of times. We love it when people are faithful to keep their word. We love it when spouses are devoted to keeping their vows.
Galatians, Gal 5:22-23 (NLT) shows us that faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit. This is about it. If you were faithful in all you said and did, how valuable would you be to those around you?
Faithfulness involves an unwavering commitment to one's beliefs and principles in one's relationship with God. It requires loyalty, trustworthiness, and showing that one can be counted on. It signifies a deep trust in God and a commitment to live in His will.
Why would anyone do this? In a world where you are told that you only have to be faithful to yourself, why this? Because faithfulness is a response to God's unchanging love.
Dear Jesus, help me to be faithful to You and everyone else around me today. AMEN
