We see three different forms of seeking the things we need from God - asking, seeking, and knocking. Each of them implies seriousness, hard work, and not giving up. Of course, this verse tells us to ask for things consistent with God's will. Things He has promised, like healing, hope, and salvation.
But have you ever thought that God gave you people? Happy, sad, broken, wonderful, struggling, encouraging, hopeless and loving people. Do you ask, seek, and knock for people?
Dear Jesus, I'm asking for You to send people Your gifts and blessings to me today. AMEN
