Joy

"I've never had so much fun!" the child yelled as they enjoyed a carnival-like ride at DisneyWorld. The smile on their face was illuminating. Mom and Dad were standing nearby, holding hands and embracing this moment with joy. The joy they felt being a family together was priceless.

Happiness fades with memory. But joy lasts forever.

Gal 5:22-23 (NLT) The fruit of the Spirit

Joy is a deep and abiding sense of contentment and happiness rooted in one's relationship with God. It is a product of the Holy Spirit's work within your life. It transcends worldly troubles and tribulations, providing strength and hope even in adversity.

The presence of joy is a testament to one's faith and connection with God. It isn't dependent upon external factors but flows from an internal, spiritual wellspring. It is a source of encouragement, a reminder of God's love and presence, and a beacon of light in the darkness of life's challenges.

Dear Jesus, I need Your joy today. AMEN.
