Satan hates your giving, he hates your future, he hates your potential, and he hates what you can do for the Kingdom of God.
Therefore, he will always tempt you to be greedy.
1 Tim. 6:9 But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. (NLT)
Wisdom, or knowing and doing God's will in any situation, saves you from heartache, pain, destruction, and eternal death.
But greed will always try to steal your future, opportunities to bless others, and otherwise experience the fullness of God's will and presence in your life.
Know God's Word, talk to people who understand God's wisdom, listen to those who have paid the price for greed, and let them teach you from their mistakes.
Whatever you do, pray for it.
James 1:5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
Dear Jesus, I need Your wisdom today. AMEN.
