TITHING DEFEATS THE GOD OF GREED

up, there is a glitch in the matrix. In other words, I need to remember to blog. Sorry. 

There are a lot of opinions about tithing online. Some say you must. Many say - nope! And some out there are thinking about it - the maybes. You, most likely, fall into one of those three categories.

I don't fall into any of them. I'm in the camp that wants to submit everything to God. If I don't, I am doomed to be selfish and greedy. Every time I tithe and give (above my tithe), I submit my heart and what it wants to God's will. That keeps the selfish three-year-old in my from screaming, "I want it. I want it. I want it." 

Everyone experiences this struggle every day. We want to think about ourselves to the exclusivity of everyone else around us. Tithing helps me to think about God first, then the people I love, and then myself. I have found that there is enough to go around because my God is generous to a generous heart. 

Let God bless the rest of your life, and see what happens. 

Dear Jesus, I need you to help me submit my heart to You today. AMEN.
