It's Monday afternoon for me right now, but for you, it's Tuesday.
I have already worked in my backyard until I was exhausted, took two showers, and a nap. Boy, is it hot out there!
As I write this, I hear the gentle rolls of thunder in the distance as the storm clouds roll in.
Why am I sharing this with you? It is my perspective at this moment.
But by this time tomorrow, I guarantee it will change.
Perspective, or your point of view, will change again and again and again. How you respond to questions and challenges will change every time it changes.
That is why it is so important to pray consistently. To pray through the most challenging of issues faithfully. While your perspective changes, God's promises never change. That's why you pray the promises, not the circumstances.
Keep praying what God promised regardless of what you see. When you speak God's Word, you always speak the truth.
Dear Jesus, help me to stay focused on Your will and Your promises today. AMEN.
