Have you ever tried to give someone something, and they balked at your generosity? Even after you have blessed them, they try to pay you for it or do something to "get even."
Sometimes people's pride just gets in the way. I've never met anyone insulted that I would bless them, but I have met many people who were confused about why. Don't be deterred from your assignment.
Blessing others is a revelation of your heart. Not only can people hear your love, but they can see you prove it. It's what Jesus did. He gave His life generously. In Acts 3, Peter and John tell the lame man they don't have any money, but they are willing to give him what they have. Healing.
You are blessed abundantly. What can God do through your generosity?
Oh, and when someone wants to bless you. Praise God and thank them for their generosity.
Solomon wrote in Pro. 11:25 The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped. (Mess)
