Did You See That?

BIBLE READING: 1 Timothy 2:1-6, 1 I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. 2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. 5 For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. 6 He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. NLT

BLOG: The other day, I am driving down the road and notice that there is a large flock of Sandhill cranes beside the road. The biggest I've ever seen. I say something and everyone looks up from their phones and says, "Where?' But it was too late; I had driven by.

Our lives are so busy that we can miss out on some of the greatest blessings we could receive. The last few weeks have been hectic. But God has been showing up in my life again and again.

In Luke 24:13 we read That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem,

Two of Jesus' disciples are walking on a road on the way to Emmaus. They are probably talking about how their teacher, Jesus, had been crucified on the cross. They may even be talking about what they were going to do next? Go back to their day jobs? Forget all of this ever happened? Then Jesus shows up. He starts talking to them, but they don't recognize Him. It wasn't until dinner time when they saw him bless and break the bread that they realized that Jesus was alive.

Today or tomorrow, depending on when you read this blog, is Sunday. You will go to church and worship Jesus. The question I want to ask you is, will you see Him there?

Jesus promised in Matthew 18:20 that He would be there. So that isn't a question. What can you do make sure that you meet with Jesus tomorrow?

Prepare your heart before you go. Distractions happen, don't let them keep you out of church.

Listen to the lyrics of the music. There may be a message in there for you.

Allow people to speak into your life. Greet each other, but take the time to attend whatever small group or Life group there is.

Listen to the sermon. There is something in there for you.

Yield to the Holy Spirits leadership in your life.

PRAY: Dear Jesus, I want to meet with you tomorrow. Let my heart be in tune with Yours. AMEN
