BIBLE READING: Col. 3: 18 - 21 18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly. 20 Children, always obey your parents, for this pleases the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not aggravate your children, or they will become discouraged.

BLOG: So my good friend today injured himself. Falls right in front of me and injures his knee. We'll know more Monday if its anything serious.

But here we are in the middle of a parking lot. He's on the ground screaming in pain. Then the sky opens up and drowns us. Finally, he was able to hobble in and get some ice on it. We hobble out and get in the car. Wheelchaired ourselves into the Urgent Care center and got some x-rays. We hobble out to the car back into the pharmacy.  Then back to the car.

As I write this, I have to be honest. I've got nothing. I'm exhausted, and what few brains cells I have left are protesting. So here's what I am going to do. I am going to show you what I do when I feel this way.

Eph. 6:10 - 20 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

It is in times like these that the enemy will tempt you to cut corners, submit to a little temptation, and even wallow in a bit of pride.

It is times like these that you need to reinforce your faith and STAND YOUR GROUND. Do not allow discouragement, anger, or doubt to rule your heart and mind. Stand your ground and keep your faith.

PRAY: Dear Jesus, I'm tired, and I need your help to keep my mind, soul, and spirit in Your will right now. AMEN
