We Interrupt This Broadcast . . .

I'm going to take a day off from the Avengers theme to address something very, very important.

Proverbs 18:22  He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.

So 35 years ago today I got married.  It was a beautiful wedding with family and friends.  And as all couples start their life, they have dreams and visions of becoming something.  But life kicks you in the gut and reality visits you.

For these 35 years, we have had to deal with childlessness, miscarriages, homelessness, natural disasters, and life-altering events.  We've almost divorced, and quit the ministry.  But through it all, there has been one voice of faith that will not stop: my wife, Betty.

She will say, "God isn't done with us yet!"

She has served by my side through thick and thin.  She has started her own business.  She manages the front desk at a Dance Academy with nearly 500 students.  She is a children's pastor and so much more!

Her passion as a mom and as a wife is unparalleled.  She fights for faith, life, and hope!  She sees her future clearly and goes for it with all of her heart.

God's favor has been on me because of her.  I know it and so do most other people.  May God grant her everything she desires and more.

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, thank you for marriage and family.  AMEN
