What Are You Doing?

So much of life is on autopilot.  Our job, our family even our downtime is often scripted.  Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months and months turn into years.  Then one day we go - "What happened?'

Don't feel bad.  Many people do this every day.  Is it over?  Have you wasted your life?  Are you a fool?  Well, the bad news is, you're not Cher, and you can't turn back time.  The good news is, you don't have to live one more day like that.  What do you do?

1 Peter 2:9  But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Discover how God sees you.  You're a royal priest, a holy person (really), a person who use to live in the dark and now you live in the light.

Discover what God wants you to do.  God will create the need, then He will provide for it.  But don't be surprised when God calls you to do something, and you're entirely underqualified to do it.

Discover what time is.  Time has been given to you to give your life, joy, and hope.

If you are reading this right now and agreeing with me, then do the following.  Ask yourself, "What are you doing today?"  Do you like what you are doing?  "Why are you doing it?"  Do you like your WHY?  "What are you going to do to change?"  If you say, "I don't know."  Don't panic.  Your journey has only just begun.

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, lead me to spend my time fulfilling Your will and changing my life.  AMEN
