It's Going To Be Super
The Superbowl is upon us. Patriots vs. the Rams. This Sunday we will eat around 8 million pounds of guacamole. We will eat 2,400 calories just during the game. We will eat 1.3 billion chicken wings. Domino’s, reports that it will sell nearly 2 million pizzas from their company alone. Then we will drink 325.5 million gallons of beer.
Did you know that more people call into work sick on the Monday after the Superbowl than any other day of the year? Hmmmm
When you talk about great moments in the
Bible you can talk about Moses and the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. Joshua and the battle of Jericho. The calling of Abraham. The birth of Jesus.
But do you want to know what I think is the greatest moment in history?
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
The moment you asked Jesus into your heart. The greatest miracle is when someone asks Jesus to forgive them of their sins. Not only are their sins forgiven but they are forgotten, never to be recalled against them ever again.
At the end of the Superbowl, someone is going to hold up a big trophy and be declared the world champions of football.
But you can hold your head up high and know that you are more than a conquer in Christ today.
PRAY: Dear Jesus, thank you for saving me from my sins and doing this great miracle in my life. AMEN
Have you never prayed the sinner's prayer? Well, here you go.
Dear Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that You came to this earth and that you died on a cross for me. I believe that you rose from the dead and that you are alive today. I ask that you forgive me of my sins. I'm asking you to come into my heart and change me. Thank You for Your forgiveness now help me to live the life You want me to live. AMEN
