Be Grateful!

What are you grateful for today?

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

According to Psychology Today being grateful does the following.
Gratitude opens the door to more relationships.
Gratitude improves physical health.
Gratitude improves psychological health.
Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.
Grateful people sleep better.
Gratitude improves self-esteem.
Gratitude increases mental strength

You would think that if we did anything, we would be grateful.  Yes?  

But instead, I find that many people are just complaining and negative.  

Do today stop what you are doing and choose one thing to be grateful for.  In fact, do it every day.  

Then after you have done that, choose one person in your life to be grateful too.  Send them an email or a text.  Call them or stop by.  You don't need to spend any money.  Just use your words.  Let them know how much you appreciate them. 

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, help me to be grateful today.  AMEN
