Smile! No Really!

Your assignment today is to look someone in the eye and smile.  No, not that creepy smile you have that scares small animals and children.  The genuine one that lets people know that you care.

British researchers determined that one smile will give you as much pleasure as 2,000 bars of chocolate.  A - Smile away and B - who ate 2,000 bars of chocolate?

Proverbs 15:13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.

A glad heart.  Well, that speaks to attitude, not circumstances.  It's about trust, not control.  It's about faith and never about fear.

Start your day with gratitude.  If you are reading this in the morning, then stop and choose one thing that you are grateful for right now.

Choose to improve your attitude.  But Russ!  You don't know what I am going through right now!  True, but I do know one thing.  It will get a little better if you just - smile.

Smile.  Go ahead and do it.  Just do it!

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, encourage me today and allow me to smile at someone who needs it.  AMEN
