Seeing Things Clearly
If you don't know, I wear glasses. I have since the 4th grade. Have you ever tried to look through a dirty pair of glasses?
Today, on the way to work, Betty was driving and asked me to clean her glasses. So I got a lens cleaner out and polished them up really good. Then I decided to clean mine. I polished them up really good, put them on and WOW! Man, were they dirty.
Now mind you I am riding in the car and all of a sudden I noticed things that I hadn't really noticed before. Not that I wasn't seeing them, but clearing things up really livened everything up.
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus - Philippians 3:14

For many people, their lives are like my dirty glasses. They can see what God wants them to see, but it really doesn't impress them. It isn't until we allow the Holy Spirit to "clean" our lives that we begin to notice His will and purpose in our lives. That's the power of vision. Not to just live life, but to live it with a purpose, a drive, a dream and a hope that what you are doing will make a difference.
PRAY: Dear Jesus, today I want to see my life clearly. AMEN
