Can You Say It?
Jesus was known for asking this question in one form or another.
Even when a blind man came to him, in verse 51, And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Rabbi, let me recover my sight.”
Now there could be some people standing around thinking, "Hey Jesus! The dudes blind! What do you think He wants!!" But Jesus didn't assume anything. But I think that there was something more significant going on here.
Jesus asks the blind man, as He did other, to verbalize what they wanted. Say it out loud for everyone to hear. How many people asked Jesus for the impossible. A miracle! Many people did. But it wasn't until their faith took action on their need.
I've heard some people say, "Well Jesus knows what my need is." That is true. But can your faith say it? Can your faith declare it for the whole world to hear?
If you are in a place in your life where you need God to intervene. Then step up your faith.
#1 - Pursue Christ with all of your heart. The Bible says that if you seek Him, you will find Him. That's because He has never left your side. Pray - Read the Word - Fellowship with like-minded believers. Worship Him.
#2 - Say it. Out loud. What do you need from God? First of all, say it in prayer. Let your faith rise to the occasion. Secondly, ask a few of your faithful friends to pray with you for this miracle. Thirdly, let the church know that you need a miracle.
#3 - Ask for faith. The disciples did this, and Jesus commended them for it. In 1 Cor 12, it says that we can have the gift of faith. That is a supernatural faith that rises to the occasion.
PRAY: Dear Jesus, I need faith, and I need faith for (insert your needs here) AMEN
