The Power of RE
Here is your English lesson for the day. (Yes, I do acknowledge that I am the last person in the world who should be teaching English.)
Re - means "back" or "again."
There are a lot of words that the prefix "re" gives life to. Like:
- Revive
- Reform
- Refresh
- Renew
- Recreate
- Reconcile
- Restore
2 Cor 5:7 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2 Corinthians 5:18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;
I was reminded recently that God allows the old, comfortable and familiar things of our life to change. In doing so, He gives us new life to enjoy. It is that growth that we should be seeking every day of our life. Lamentations 3:22-22 22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
What needs to go "back again" in your life today? What about your relationship with God? Your marriage, family or career? Make the trip. It's worth it all when you take Christ along with you.
PRAY: Dear Jesus, I want to experience the power of RE in my life today. AMEN
