The Red Pill or the Blue Pill?
Morpheus says, "You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes."
I've been re-reading the book "IF" by Mark Batterson where he makes a reference to this scene. As followers of Jesus, we have to make the same kind of choice every day.
The Red Pill refers to the times when we pray and fasting. We face reality, but we do so with the knowledge that God is working on our behalf and that we are following Him faithfully.
The Blue Pill is what many people do. They remain oblivious to what is going on around them allowing others to run their life and "hope" that everything turns out alright.
The Red Pill keeps life interesting, the Blue Pill is boring. The Red Pill allows God to move through your life thus changing your world. The Blue Pill, well . . . Who cares?
If you haven't figured it out. Miracles follow the Red Pill (prayer and fasting, faithfulness and an honest openness to God leading your life.)
PRAY: Dear Jesus, help me to focus on you while I pray. Help me to embrace your will for me. Please don't let me take the Blue Pill! AMEN!
Projector Update: We're making progress. Keep praying! Miracles are happening.
