When Your Exhausted - Super Bowl Edition
The Superbowl is over, and I'm exhausted. What a game! But what happened?
Romans 12:11-12 "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
Atlanta ran out of steam. They didn't pace themselves, and in the end, they were getting beat to the ball every time.
New England paced themselves. They didn't get all emotionally involved in the game and wear themselves out. So, in the end, they had the energy they needed to finish strong.
Atlanta lost momentum in the second half. You could just watch them fade away.
New England changed their strategy and started winning. Atlanta couldn't stop them.
It was a classic example of leadership and teamwork. New England deserved to win (and yes it pained me to say that).
