Change is . . . .

EXPENSIVE!  Change is expensive.  

Sometimes when I need to stop somewhere and get a bite to eat, I will ask Google to give me a list of local eateries.  Google responds and gives me a list that includes this. $$$$  One $ means cheap and $$$$$ means expensive.  

Now, in the spirit of being honest here, I have to admit when I see one $ I think, "What are they serving?  Cat food?  This food can't be good."  Then when I see $$$$$, I think, "Mortgage payment!"  I run away from both.  I usually end up around $$ to $$$. 

When you talk about changing in 2017 think about this quote, “Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.” ― Tony Robbins.

Do you want to change your life?  Then it is going to cost you, $$$$$.  Remember hard times have a purpose and life-changing events begin in difficulty.

Ecclesiastes 7:14, In the day of prosperity be happy, But in the day of adversity consider — God has made the one as well as the other.

James 1:2-4, Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

So what do you do?  Think about the pay out - the reward.  If you put $$$$$ in you will get  $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in reward.  It seems to be worth it when you think about it.  

PRAY:  Jesus, help me to realize that I have to change, please help me  have the courage to change.   AMEN.
