Lamentations 3:22 - 23 says, The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (ESV)
Each morning, God's mercies or compassion towards you are new and refreshing. The question is, are you looking for them?
I am grateful that God, in his divine mercy, decides to smile on me and see me through my day. I am grateful that He chose to answer my prayer of faith and set me free from a life of sin. I am grateful that each and every day He acknowledges the struggles I go through and provides for my every need. I am grateful that His direction for my life is so much better than anything than I can imagine. I am grateful that He is the one who sees me for who I am but chooses to love me and embrace me. I am grateful that He is preparing a place for me in heaven. I am grateful that He is bigger than the problems of my life.
