14 Hours and Counting

Image
2010 will soon be over. We lived through YTK - Hurricanes Francis, Jeanne, Charley, Wilma and Ivan. - 9/11 - The Iraqi War - Three presidential elections. I lived though a kidney stone, a cancer scare, a church split and a host of other "stuff". What was the highlight of my decade? You have to ask?

2 Days and Counting Down

Did you know that the reason why the area code for the space coast is 321 is because of the countdown? You know 10 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 321!!

3 Days!!!

The new layout is ready and I have started some writing. I don't know if I am looking forward to the new year or if I am just happy to get 2010 behind me.

I was wondering today - If a Christian doesn't behave like a Christian - are they a Christian?

Ok - So here is something that I have learned about blogging. The reason why you started blogging isn't the reason why your are blogging today. I hit a roadblock in writing and just couldn't figure out what was going on. So I sit down and started to think about it. I really wasn't writing what I really wanted to write about. So with that in mind I am going to take the next few weeks to begin revamping my blog for Jan. 1 - 16 days and counting.

Five guys = simple

There are a few things that five guts burgers and fries does that churches should do. #1 - They let you know who they are. Look around the walls. #2 - They keep it simple. No complicated menus, just burgers, fries, hot dogs. Stick to what you know and learn how to do it better. #3 - They do it well. No frozen meat, no shorts cuts. You feel like you get more than you give. They are generous. #4 - There is room for individuality. 15 toppings in any combination. The experience is what you make of it. They give you enough room to make it a great experience. Something a lot of churches could do. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
