So as I am getting ready to blog today I run across this image that says. I AM HOPEFUL. Well it's on a t-shirt and I thought that was unusual. The reverse side says. I AM ARCANE. (To be secretive, mysterious or obscure.) Then I get it. Hopeful people are a little "different" Well this may be a sarcastic attempt to poke fun at people who have hope - but I see something completely different here.
The words I AM are in red. I AM is the name of God given to Moses in the book of Exodus. I AM comes from the Hebrew word
"YHVH". It translates as "LORD". Found more often in the Old Testament than any other name for God (approximately 7,000 times). I AM declares God's absolute being - the source of everything, without beginning and without end. Some pronounce YHVH as "Jehovah" or "Yaweh" He is the unchanging, eternal, self-existent God, the "I am that I am," He is a convenant-keeping God. (Compare Mal. 3:6; Hos. 12:5; Rev. 1:4, 8.)
Is God hopeful? In light of God's name YHVH I think that we can say that God IS hopeful. That isn't to say that He has hope, I mean that He IS hope. God keeps His promises and God is our source for everything. When we place our trust in Him, He becomes the wellspring of hope in our lives. His name says so!
Update: Bella Sangermano went home to be with Jesus yesterday at 4:05 p.m. Please keep the family in your prayers. This is their most recent communication.
Please understand that ALL of our prayers were answered and God did give us a miracle. Bella is healed!
Just because she is not here with us...God wanted her home with him. He gave her to us and he never told us how long that would be for.
I was thinking she is truly better off. She doesn't have to face all of the junk of this world!
What a blessing...we were able to spend 4 days in Orlando with her about a week before she went into the hospital. God's ways are always higher than ours.
Please read Psalm 91 and be comforted in our Lord!
