God Is Your Biggest Fan

Today's blog - God is Your Biggest Fan.  Tomorrows, God is Committed To Your Success and Fridays blog, Fear Is Always Bigger . . .  were suggested to me by a couple of people sitting in my office last night.  So I thought, why not?

God is Your Biggest Fan.

Psalm 17:8  Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings,

Is God your encourager?  Do you let Him lift you up?  Do you allow God to pour Himself into you?

Think about it.  All through the Bible, we read how He takes the weak and makes them strong. He transforms hopeless lives by the power of His love and the Holy Spirit.  Psalms 51:17 says, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
His love heals, and His promises never fail.  He reverses our fear with His courage and empowers you to do what He created you to do.

The idea that God is up in heaven waiting to punish you for your next mistake isn't only demeaning but portrays an image of God that doesn't exist.

God is actually up in heaven thinking good thoughts about you.  At any time of any day, God is thinking His best about who you are and what you can be.  He will never ever say, "What am I going to do with that one?"  God cannot be confused by what you do, but you can be encouraged by what He will do - if you let Him.

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, encourage me today.  AMEN
