It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Andy Williams sang this song for the first time in 1963.  Now it is considered to be one of the top 10 Christmas songs of all time.

But someone told me the other day that they just hate that song.  "It isn't the most wonderful time of the year.  I don't care what anyone says!"  I looked to see if there was any family resemblance with Mr. Scrooge or The Grinch.  There wasn't, but still.

This morning in Life Group we read Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,

That means that Jesus arrived at a perfect time in history.  His arrival wasn't random or chance.  God knew the right time and place to bring His Son into this world.

God's timing in your life may not be convenient.  But it will always be perfect.  We have to trust Him.  He knows what He is doing and He knows how to do it.  True, this holiday season may not be the best one ever - it may not be the worst one either.  But whatever God is doing in your life right now makes it the most wonderful time of the year.

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, I know that you're going to do the right thing in my life today.  Thank You!  AMEN
