3 More Days Until 2018

A friend of mine once said, "If you can't reach your goals, lower your standards."  Really!?!

There are only 3 days until 2018.  What will this year bring you?

Well, if there is anything I know it is this.  You're going to have to give up, "good" to have, "better."

Philippians 3:12 but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

You and I like to live in the past.  Disagree?  Well then, why do you keep doing the same habits over and over?  You did them yesterday, last week, last month and even last year.  Isn't that living in the past?  Now I'm not arguing that you shouldn't bathe daily.  I am saying that much of your life is based on your history.

We have determined that these habits, which make up most of our daily lives, are good enough.  Are they?  Think about it.  What can do you different that will change your life?  More importantly, what can you do that will make a positive impact on your life and the life of your family.

Luke 9:62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Lamenting your past will never fix your future.
Living in your past will never let you live in your future.
Loving your past will never let you love the present.

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, You are my future.  I want to live for You every day.  AMEN
