Happy Fathers Day

Fathers Day can mean many things for different men.

- For me, it has been a joy to embrace Fathers Day since Anneka was born.  She always makes my Fathers Day special.
- But for some, Fathers Day is a reminder that they cannot be a father.  I can understand that.  The four years before Anneka's birth Betty and I when through one miscarriage after another.  Fathers Day was a bit painful.
- For some Father's this day reminds them of their mistakes and failures.  Marriages that are broken and families who have parted ways.

Proverbs 20:7 The righteous who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him!
Here is a question of your dads out there.  If your children live their life with the same integrity and character you have embraced, would they do well in life?  True, there is always room for improvement, but will they be considered, honest, loyal, and hard working?  Will their character exhibit more grace, mercy, and compassion than yours?  If they do you will be truly blessed.

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, I want to live my life with integrity today and every day.  AMEN
