God's Timing

A couple of weeks ago the transmission in my car began to slip. I knew that the inevitable was about to happen. I was going to have to buy a car.   The car with a slipping transmission had over 192,000 miles on it.   Any major repair was going to be more than what the car was worth. Even worse I knew that I could not trust anymore. So I began to pray.   I have to be honest I wasn't looking forward to this.

As I began to pray for God's wisdom and direction he directed me to do two specific things.  1 -  contact the salesman that I had purchased my previous two cars to cars from.   However, longer in the car business.   2 - Trade my car off today.  I wanted to know more. What about the financing? What about the style of car? But nothing.

Proverbs 3:5-6. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Not only did God provide the right people for us to meet with today, many of whom were followers of Jesus.    God's timing to trade the car in today couldn't have been better.

PRAY. Dear Jesus, direct my life today to be in your will.  AMEN
