When it all comes unglued at the seams!

When it all comes unglued at the seams, you must be doing something right.

I remember when a pastor friend of mine a few decades ago told me that.  I thought to myself, "Aren't you a cheery one!"  But He proceeded to tell me that when God is doing something great in your life, family or church - things will try to distract you.

For example:
- This week the AC in my office died.  Don't worry it was an easy fix.
- Then the AC in the sanctuary died.  Turned out the thermostat needed new batteries.  Whew!
- The garbage disposal in the kitchen stopped working.  Hit the reset button, and we were back in business.
- The converter for the projector (the old one) arrived.  It was the wrong one.  Spent a whole day trying to find a $2 adapter.  Did you know that there is a Radio Shack in Indiantown, Florida?  Who knew?
- A speaker in the sound system stopped working.  Don't worry, it's back up and running.
- The new projector is still on back order.  (Had a little come to Jesus moment with the supplier.)

We must be doing something right.

2 Corinthians 2:11 so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.

My friend's point was simple.  Stay focused on what God wants you to do and don't allow all these other "things" to distract you from your mission and purpose in life.

PRAY:  Dear Jesus, I want to keep my focus on your and make you the #1 priority in my life today.  AMEN
