Christmas Rush

Ahhhhh!

As I mention yesterday, Betty and I are in full blown dance week.  I am not going to bore you with the details, but sleep is a precious commodity right now.

Then this morning it happened.  "Daddy?"  With that one voice that makes me brace myself for what is coming.  "I forgot something at home, can you go get it?"  Ahhhhhh!

Of course I will go get it, sometime today, but it made me think.  In the Christmas rush, we forget stuff, important stuff.

Psalms 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Now I am not saying that Christmas will make you sin.  That's like saying the devil made me do it.  NOT!

But in all of the Christmas rush we can forget what is most important.  Our faith.  The people that we love. The reason why we celebrate Christmas - JESUS!

PRAY Dear Jesus, please help me remember during this hectic season the reason why I worship you.  Thank you for loving me and thank you for saving me from my sins.  AMEN
